Acting Head of Education (Kabid) of Madrasah Kanwil Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) of Jateng Province, Wahid Arbani, confirmed the issuance of affidavits for parents by Mts Negeri 2 Brebes related to MBG. According to him, after the letter was widely circulated on social media, it immediately coordinated and dug up the chronology on the part of the school.

Wahid claimed that the publication of the letter was not through coordination with Kanwil Kemenag Jateng. According to the chronology, on Thursday (11/9/2025), the field assistant (aslap) of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) held a meeting with representatives of MTs Negeri 2 Brebes to discuss the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between SPPG and the school.

During the meeting, representatives of MTs Negeri 2 Brebes asked several questions, including the treatment of pupils with allergies and follow-up in case of poisoning. Responding to the question, the aslap of the relevant SPPG then proposed a sample circular for the parents of the pupils if they wanted to accept or reject the MBG. The SPPG's Aslap then suggested the school side publish such a letter. MTs Negeri 2 Brebes accepted the proposal.
