REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKASSAR -- The General Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Center, Prof Dr Haedar Nashir, said that the financial independence of Muhammadiyah in the region or region is a true strength. Because according to him, the center does not subsidize the physical development of Muhammadiyah in the area.

He said that the construction of the 13-storey towering building, which is targeted to be completed within a year and a half, comes entirely from internal Muhammadiyah funds in the region and the region, as well as voluntary support from various parties.
“The need for funding for the construction of the building is about Rp 74 billion. This shows that Muhammadiyah's financial independence in the region or region is a true strength, as it is not centrally subsidized, only remote areas only get physical development assistance.
Therefore, he is optimistic that the building is ready to be built with independent funds and lawful assistance.
While that physical development, he continued, must be followed by the building of the character of the nation no less important through the three main dimensions of militancy or commitment, understanding, and an ethos of progress.
