REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto urged residents to always be healthy and under the protection of Almighty God.

“May all of us and the whole community who will carry out the homecoming always be in good health and under the protection of the Almighty,” Prabowo said at the State Palace in Jakarta on Thursday.

For most Indonesians, the President said, homecoming is a tradition to reunite with family, relatives and loved ones.

This activity is considered to be a moment to return to the hometown scattered with peace and joy.

The president also hopes that worship during the fasting month will be accepted by Allah swt. and that they can be reunited with the fasting month the following year.

“In four days we will fly. May our worship be accepted by Allah Swt. and we will be reunited with the upcoming fasting month,” the Head of

Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi reiterated the government's commitment to realize Women and Child Friendly Homecoming (MRPA) by ensuring the availability of facilities that are safe, comfortable, and meet the specific needs of women, children, the elderly, and the disabled.

“This year's homecoming is much friendlier for women and children than in previous years. I noticed the presence of a lactation room in the rest area, although so far no nursing mothers have stopped there, probably because it is more convenient to breastfeed in the vehicle. In addition, the children's rest room is good enough, so that they and the mothers can rest comfortably before continuing their journey,” Arifah Fauzi said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
