REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Prabowo Subianto signed Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 47 of 2024 on the Elimination of Bad Receivables to SMEs in the fields of agriculture, plantations, livestock, and marine and other SMEs.
The decree was signed by President Prabowo at Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, on Tuesday (5/11/2024) afternoon, witnessed by a number of ministry officials and related agencies and a number of MSME employers' associations.
“With this the government hopes to help our brothers who work in MSME agriculture and as fishermen who are very important food producers they can continue their efforts and be more empowered,” President Prabowo said in his speech.
The head of state said all technical requirements related to the rule would be followed up by ministries and relevant agencies.
In that agenda, President Prabowo signed three Presidential Papers, which were divided into fisheries and marine, agriculture, plantations and livestock, and MSMEs.
The agenda of the event continued with a procession of symbolic handover of documents to a number of farmers and fishermen groups, among them the Indonesian Palm Oil Farmers Association (Apkasinodo) and the Palm Oil Farmers Union (SPKS).
