REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- RI President Prabowo Subianto stressed that the slaying of ministers and heads of state institutions at the Military Academy (Akmil), Magelang City, Central Java on Thursday-Saturday (24-26/10/2024), is not an act of ostracism or militarism.

“Tomorrow there will be activities in Magelang to galvanize the ministers. Hasan explained that Prabowo said the three-day activity was to establish togetherness, friendship, and to build teamwork. With the development of teamwork, he added, Prabowo hopes ministers and agency heads can coordinate more closely.

As for the herding of ministers in Akmil, according to Hasan, because Magelang City is a symbol of struggle and heroism. Magelang was a central area of resistance during the colonial period.

Ministers and deputy ministers who participate in the mustering activities will receive uniforms for movement and as a sign of cohesiveness. “There is a uniform for movement, for learning movement so that it is warm. President Prabowo is scheduled to depart for Magelang on a presidential plane. Meanwhile, ministers and heads of agencies and agencies use the AU military's Super Hercules aircraft.
