REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Presidential Special Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana said President Joko Widodo and President-elect Prabowo Subianto discussed various things during a dinner session in Jakarta on Tuesday.
“At the dinner, various things were discussed, especially regarding the sustainability of government programs going forward,” Ari Dwipayana said in a brief message in Jakarta on Tuesday night.
He said Jokowi and Prabowo had dinner at the Plataran Restaurant in Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno area.
According to him, President Jokowi always maintains close and intense communication with President-elect Prabowo Subianto at every opportunity, both in formal forums and informal meetings.
“The unity between the two leaders of this nation is indispensable to ensure the transition of government runs smoothly and smoothly,” Ari said.
Earlier Minister of State Pratikno said Jokowi's dinner with Prabowo was held in private or did not involve other parties.
According to Pratikno, on that occasion Jokowi and Prabowo had dinner while discussing the togetherness and sustainability of the government.
