Thousands of Hashim Asyari Tegal Pesantren Schools Equipped with Digital Literacy Ability

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- A total of 2,577 schools Pondok Pesantren Hashim Asyary Tarub, Tegal followed Digital Literacy held by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Cominfo).

The activity that took place on Thursday, (25/7/2024) was themed “The Importance of Personal Branging in the Digital Era”, the event took place at Pondok Pesantren Hashim Asyary Tarub, Tegal.

The participants in the event were provided with three speakers. Namely, Dandim 0712/Tegal Letkol Inf Suratman SIP MIP, Miss Hijab Pendidikan Indonesia, Fidya Laela Sarie and LPOI Secretary KH Imam Pituduh SH MH.

The Coordinator of Digital Literacy of the Ministry of Kominfo, Akbar Andreas, said in this event the students are expected to play an active role in the world of digital literacy, while remaining oriented to the typical traditions of boarding school people who hold firm, the values of tolerance in socializing in the era of digital literacy adapted to the development of the times.

“This is because there needs to be an acceleration of queues in the era of digital literacy,” he said.

In addition to gaining deep insight into effective strategies for building personal branding, he said, the students were given material on how to leverage analytics data to improve personal branding.

In addition, materials on the challenges and opportunities of personal branding in the digital age and case studies of successful personal branding in Indonesia.

He said that this discussion of personal branding has become important amid the rapid development of technology and the increasing use of mobile devices in Indonesia.

According to the latest data from the Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers (APJII), Internet user penetration in Indonesia reached 73.7 percent in 2023, with the majority of users accessing the internet through mobile devices.

He explained that this significant growth shows that Indonesia has become one of the largest digital markets in the world.

“This opens up huge opportunities for individuals to build and develop their personal branding through digital platforms,” he said.
