BKPRMI Bangka Helps the Government to Eliminate Koranic Illiteracy

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SUNGAILIAT -- Bangka Regent's Human and Cultural Development Expert Staff, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, Boy Yandra said the Indonesian Mosque Youth Communication Agency (BKPRMI) in the area has helped the government to combat Quran illiteracy.

It was delivered by Boy Yandra at Sungailiat, Sunday, at Tahfizh Juz 30 Graduation of Force VI and TPA Graduation of Force XXXI in 2024.

“Quran education is essential to shaping a resilient generation of Quranists,” he said.

He said the Bangka Regency government gives great appreciation to the BKPRMI organization that has helped prepare a generation that has the quality of faith and taqwa.

 

“Graduation is not the end of everything, children should continue to study Islamic religious science by studying the Koran,” said Boy Yandra.

Meanwhile, Executive Chairman Fahmi Andika, said that the schools that attended Tahfizh Juz 30's graduation of Force VI, 118 students came from five districts.

Meanwhile, santri who have passed Munaqosyah Tahfizh Juz 30 will be held graduation on December 25, 2023 at the Nurul Huda Parit Padang Sungailiat Masjid Besar mosque.

Graduation with the theme of “Preparing the Quranic Generation for a Glorious Future” graduated Tahfidz juz 30 class IV and graduation santri kindergarten/TPA class XXXI.

BKPRMI annually addresses the illiteracy of the Quran even increasing the memorization or hafidz of the Quran every year on average above 2,000 meaning the overall total in Bangka Belitung is above 14,000 people every year.
