REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- The Directorate of General Criminal Reserse (Ditreskrimum) of the West Java Police managed to arrest Pegi aka Perong, the perpetrators of the murders of Vina and Rizky aka Eky in Cirebon in 2016. The perpetrator, who has been on the run for approximately eight years, is secured in Bandung City.
“It has been secured (Pegi alias Perong),” said Director General Criminal (Dirkrimum) of the West Java Police Kombes Pol Surawan when confirmed on Wednesday (22/5/2024).
He said the perpetrator, who has been on the run for eight years, was arrested in Bandung City on Tuesday (21/5/2024) evening. The offender has currently been secured and is undergoing examination by investigators. “Last night (he was arrested) in Bandung,” he said.
He said he was still investigating and investigating the case.
