REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TERNATE -- Garuda Indonesia Airlines started operating the Ternate-Jakarta round-trip (PP) route using G-649 aircraft on the Ternate-Jakarta route starting on H+2 Lebaran 2024.

“For the Ternate-Jakarta PP route, H+2 Lebaran will start transporting passengers,” said General Manager of Garuda Indonesia Ternate Allam Rafli, in Ternate, Thursday (11/4/2024).

According to him, for the Ternate-Jakarta flights starting on April 12, 2024, the Garuda Indonesia G-649 will use the Garuda Indonesia G-649 with a capacity of 150 seats in economy class and 12 for business class. In fact, to date, Allam said, as many as 145 economy seats and two business class seats have been sold.

Since September 13, 2023, Garuda Indonesia has increased the frequency of flights on Wednesdays and Fridays from Ternate, North Maluku to Jakarta to complete the flight schedule that has been flying 5x per week to 7x per week.

Allam hopes that the increase in flight frequency will increase passenger visits to Ternate, both for leisure and business travel, while absorbing demand that has so far been unserved on Wednesdays and Fridays.

He stated that Garuda Indonesia currently flies from Jakarta at 01.20 WIB, and arrives in Ternate at 07.05 WIT with a flight duration of 3 hours 45 minutes.

Instead, the flight from Ternate is scheduled to fly at 08.05 WIT and will arrive in Jakarta at 09.40 WIB with a flight duration of 3 hours 35 minutes.

Nature added that the route is non-stop and provides free hot meals and drinks. Passengers have also received 20 kg of free luggage for economy services, and 30 kg for business services.
