REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Lebaran Fair exhibition held at JI Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, can be a destination for shopping and spending time for some Jakarta residents.

Previously, this exhibition was used as a place for nagabuburit. Like one of the residents of Kampung Rambutan, Jumiati, 40, who took her husband and her two children to Jakarta Lebaran Fair (JLF) to hunt for Lebaran clothes.

“I already have a Lebaran shirt, but look at the price cut I finally bought, it happens that I don't have a shirt that is the same color for a family,” Jumiati said when she met at the Jakarta Lebaran Fair area of JI Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta, some time ago.

Jumiati learned about the JLF exhibition held on April 3-21, 2024 from the child who monitored JI Expo via TikTok. He and his family did not think that JLF was very different from Jakarta Fair, which is usually held every June.

This is because the outlets at JLF are not as many and as crowded as Jakarta Fair. However, he admitted that he was not disappointed to come to the exhibition of the mini version of Jakarta Fair because of the many discounts provided.

Unlike Jumiati, Eka, 42, takes her husband and daughter to JLF to “ngabuburit”. He and his family arrived at JI Expo Kemayoran around 17:00pm from Cakung, East Jakarta.

Eka learned that there was a JLF exhibition from the princess, Ricka, 15, who saw the opening post of JLF from the TikTok JI Expo “for your page”.

“The streets here are just 'nagabuburit' and there is also a large selection of food from the shops. Earlier there was a tele crust and fried toge as well,” Eka said.

Like Jakarta Fair, many outlets sell products with packaged packages, such as chiki, biscuits to packaged drinks. The product became a typical souvenir of Jakarta Fair which is also available at Jakarta Lebaran Fair.

The price of admission to Jakarta Lebaran Fair on Monday-Friday is Rp 25,000, while Saturday, Sunday and Lebaran holiday period is Rp 35,000. Then the combined ticket price (bundling) following concerts on Monday-Friday is Rp 40,000, and Saturday, Sunday, and Lebaran holiday period is Rp 50,000.

People can visit Jakarta Lebaran Fair on Monday-Friday at 15.00-22.00 WIB, while Saturdays, Sundays and Lebaran holidays are open at 11.00-23.00 WIB. However, there are operating hours on the night of Takbiran, namely 11.00-18.00 WIB and the first day of Lebaran 14.00-23.00 WIB.
