REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LAMPUNG SELATAN -- Thousands of settlers using two-wheeled vehicles or motorcycles from Ciwandan Port, Banten, continue to arrive at Bakauheni Port, Lampung on Saturday or H-4 Lebaran 2024.

Based on monitoring at the site from 03.00 WIB to 04.00 WIB, it was seen that the settlers took turns to get off the ship.

Not only those who use motorcycles, travelers who use cars and pedestrians continue to arrive at Bakauheni Port.

Although there is a density in two- and four-wheelers that will exit the Bakauheni Port area, it does not cause a long buildup of vehicles and looks smooth.

One of the settlers from Jakarta, Sunaryo, admitted that he chose to return home on a motorcycle so as not to get stuck in traffic jams at Merak Banten port.

“Yes sir, so as not to get stuck in the harbor sir. It also chose the road at night to avoid traffic jams,” Sunaryo said, when interviewed after disembarking from the boat in Bakauheni on Saturday (6/4/2024).

While General Manager of PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry Branch Bakauheni Rudi Sunarko, appealed to users of crossing services to be able to buy Ferizy tickets from far away.

“So we appealed for would-be settlers from Sumatra Island to Java and vice versa who will use ASDP crossing services to buy tickets from far away,” he said.
