REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Bank Saqu, a digital banking service from PT Bank Jasa Jakarta, supports Bank Indonesia's program to promote economic and financial digitalization through participation in Jakcloth Ramadan 2024.
All transactions at the JakCloth Ramadan 2024 event use QRIS and bank transfers via BI FAST.
Finance Director of PT Bank Jasa Jakarta, Leka Madiadipoera, said that Bank Saqu is proud to support Bank Indonesia's program encouraging the use of QRIS and BI FAST in Jakcloth Ramadan 2024. “We believe that digitalization of the economy and finance can help SMEs and solopreneurs in Indonesia to develop and improve their competitiveness,” Leka said in a statement on Tuesday (2/3/2024).
Through this collaboration, Bank Saqu also wants to invite solopreneurs and customers to easily transact and organize finances through the QRIS feature. There are many rewards that Saqu Bank offers there. Also there is a Tabungmatic feature to create a saving habit without extra effort.
Bank Saqu also received appreciation for expanding the use of QRIS in DKI Jakarta area from Bank Indonesia in Ngabuburit Nyook Pake QRIS event at JakCloth Ramadan 2024, JCC Senayan Jakarta.
“This appreciation attests to Saqu Bank's strong commitment to supporting the use of QRIS,” Leka said.
He added that Bank Saqu focuses on digital investments. So Bank Saqu will continue to develop more features to support solopreneurs in Indonesia.
On the same occasion, Bank Indonesia DKI Jakarta Representative Head Arlyana Abubakar also conveyed the importance of transforming the digitization of payment systems. He appreciated the initiative of PT YUKK Kreasi Indonesia and Bank Saqu by PT Bank Jasa Jakarta in expanding QRIS acceptance through Jakcloth Ramadan 2024 activities.
“Jakcloth involved 300 MSME tenants in using QRIS as a modern payment instrument,” Arlyana said.
He assessed that Jakcloth is certainly in line with the spirit of the Indonesian Proud Movement (GBBI) and supports the Digital Finance Economy Festival (FEKDI) series in the DKI Jakarta area. The objective, is to encourage economic activity, accelerate inclusive finance, and increase the competitiveness of SMEs.
Jakcloth is one of the largest fashion and MSME products bazaars in Indonesia. Jakcloth will take place in 14 major cities, including Jakarta and Surabaya. In Jakarta itself, JakCloth will be held for 9 days, starting from March 29, 2024 to April 7, 2024 at JCC Senayan.
