“On Sunday, March 31, it was recorded that visitors entering Pasar Tanah Abang Blok B reached 54,827 people,” said Agus Lamun, Public Relations Manager of Perumda Pasar Jaya when contacted in Jakarta, Monday (1/4/2024).
The details are 11,198 at 09.00 WIB, 16,388 at 11.00 WIB, 15,218 at 13.00 WIB, and 12,023 at 16.00 WIB.
He said Sunday's visitors were the highest number in 2024. “That's right, until this March 2024, visitors are highest on March 31,” he added.
Compared to Saturday (30/3/2024) yesterday, the number of visitors to Pasar Tanah Abang Blok B increased, the total number of visitors recorded was 46,298 people.
The details are 10,200 at 09.00 WIB, 14,631 at 11.00 WIB, 11,215 at 13.00 WIB, and 10,252 at 16.00 WIB.
Due to the increase in the number of visitors compared to last year, it is still conducting data.
“Last year's ones are still being sought after, which are obviously more crowded this year,” he explained.
Previously, the Regional Public Company (Perumda) of Pasar Jaya determined to continue to rebuild and revitalize the market in 2024 in order to improve the services and facilities and infrastructure of shopping centers in Jakarta.
The target has been achieved in February 2024 by inaugurating two markets, namely Jatirawasari Market, Central Jakarta and Cilincing Market, North Jakarta.
Later, at the end of May, it will also carry out further inaugurations in the Kalideres Market, the Stone Well Market, and the Hexagon Market.
The revitalized markets are Jatinegara Market, Pasar Pramuka, Pasar Serdang, Pasar Cempaka Putih, Pasar Senen Blok VI, and Pasar Jembatan Besi.
