REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Ustadzah Mirani Mauliza said a number of things that women, especially those who are already stay-at-home, need to do when going through various activities in the holy month of Ramadan. According to him, there are moments that are missed during Ramadan.

“Ramadan is a special month for a woman, especially those who are stay-at-home, because it is usually possible to pray tahajud, and then nothing is prepared. But in Ramadan, it is necessary to prepare sahur food for the family,” he told Republika.co.id not long ago.

The author of the book Extreme Hijrah said that there are indeed many duties that a housewife must fulfill during Ramadan. But, it was precisely that moment that he longed for because he could gather with his family at the time of dawn or before dawn.

“Being able to get together at the hour of dawn, it's the thing I miss the most. Children certainly from year to year grow up, that is where the longing arises to gather together in the hours of sahur. Enjoying sahur dishes with children, with family members,” Ustadz's wife Adi Permana said.
