He explained that the 2024 passenger target reflects a recovery rate of more than 100 percent from the conditions before the Covid-19 pandemic. Cin Asmoro revealed in 2019 the number of AP II passengers was about 90.77 million passengers.

“We are optimistic that we can achieve this goal through collaboration with all stakeholders to provide the best service for airline passengers,” said Cin Asmoro.

As for the number of flights, AP II targets can reach about 674,1600 aircraft movements. The target also increased 12 percent compared with last year's 599,600 aircraft movements.

AP II, which is also part of InJourney, has held a meeting with aviation stakeholders in Lampung on 27-28 February 2024. Cin Asmoro said the meeting was an effort to improve aviation connectivity especially at AP II airport.

“In the meeting, AP II, airlines, and stakeholders shared the same view on strengthening air connectivity to support tourism development and economic growth,” explained Cin Asmoro.

Airlines present at the meeting were Garuda Indonesia, Citilink, Lion Air, Batik Air, Super Air Jet, Wings Air, Pelita Air, and AirAsia Indonesia.

Cin Asmoro revealed that AP II ensures the availability of time slots or time availability for departures and arrivals of flights at airports that airlines need to operate flights.

“Slot schedules in 2024 at 20 AP II airports cumulatively totaled 294,472 slots for the entire year. AP II with the airline will continue to discuss the optimization of this flight time slot,” said Cin Asmoro.
