REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- A total of 163,400 people visited the Ancol area in North Jakarta during the 2024 lunar holiday from February 8 to February 11, 2024.
Corporate Communication PT Pembangan Jaya Ancol Tbk Ariyadi Eko Nugroho in Jakarta, Monday (12/2/2024), said that the number of these visits increased compared to the 2023 Chinese holiday. “There was an increase in the number of visits although not very significant,” Ari said.
He mentioned that the most visits occurred on the first day of the holiday coinciding with Isra Miraj holiday on Thursday (8/2/2024) with 47 thousand visits. Then on Friday (9/2/2024) it dropped with the number of visits of 35,800 people and on Saturday (10/2/2024) the total visits rose to 45,100 people.
“Yesterday on the last day of the holiday visitors who came to Ancol were 35,500,” he said.
PT Pembangan Jaya Ancol Tbk in Lunar Celebration 2024 held Ancol Lunar Fest 2024 from 8 to 11 February 2024. Ancol presents a variety of distinctive performances identical to the Lunar celebrations that can be found throughout Ancol's leisure units.

Previously, Operational Director of PT Pembangan Jaya Ancol Tbk Eddy Prastiyo targeted 300 thousand visitors to the area during the 2024 Chinese holiday. “In four holidays this weekend we targeted 300,000 people entering the Ancol area,” he said.
He said for Sea World it was targeting 10,000 visits per day and overall a target of 300,000 people. On weekends, the average number of visits is 40 thousand people per day.
“This holiday has seen a two- to three-fold increase in visits from a normal day,” he said.
