REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Ministry of Religious Affairs immediately held a selection for the support staff of Hajj Organizer Officer (PPIH) Saudi Arabia 1445 Hijriah/2024 AD.
“We will carry out the selection of the PPIH Support Staff of Saudi Arabia. God willing, registration will be opened in the near future, in early February 2024,” said the Director General of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Hilman Latief, in a statement in Jakarta on Friday.
The scheme for organizing this selection was discussed together in the Coordination Meeting of PPIH Support Personnel Recruitment of Saudi Arabia 1445 H/2024 M.
Hilman Latief said Saudi Arabia's PPIH Support personnel, including officers already listed in Law No. 8 of 2019 and serving in Saudi Arabia.
The Support Team consists of Indonesian students attending a number of universities in Middle Eastern countries and Indonesian citizens (WNI) in Saudi Arabia.
“Saudi Arabia's PPIH Support Staff Selection will be conducted in a transparent and accountable manner. The purpose of the selection is to select professional and competent officers,” he said.
Director of Bina Haji Arsad Hidayat said the Ministry held a coordination meeting with representatives of KBRI and PPMI in each Middle East country to ensure the recruitment process went well.
The registration process is done online (online) through Pusaka Superapps with the Hajj Officer Registration menu.
“Registration is open immediately. God willing the test was held on February 20, 2024. Selection using CAT (computer assested test) and job field deepening interviews. The CAT system is in an effort to digitize the selection of Hajj officers. Both will be done online,” he said.
In this coordination meeting, some technical aspects related to the selection process were discussed, for example, the signs for the selection of personnel supporting Saudi Arabia PPIH, a clear and measurable process, and minimizing difficulties in the selection process.
Representatives of KBRI who participated in the survey informed that the number of students in a number of Middle Eastern countries is increasing. Thus, the number of officer quotas from the student element is proposed to be increased.
