REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANADO -- Indonesian Solidarity Party General Chairman Kaesang Pangarep gave new handphone/mobile phones to residents whose phones were damaged during Akbar PSI Campaign in Manado North Sulawesi, Wednesday (31/1/2024). The new mobile phone was given as the main prize for the campaign participants who attended Treman Village Square in Minahasa Regency North, North Sulawesi, from morning to afternoon.
“Anybody here has a broken screen, right? I want to find the one that cracks are severe,” Kaesang said.
Residents who followed the campaign in droves showed their damaged phones on the screen. Kaesang, who was on stage accompanied by his wife, Erina Gudono, chose two citizens who had mobile phones with broken screens and gave each of them a new mobile phone as a gift.
At Akbar PSI Campaigns in several previous cities, campaign participants were also often given gifts in the form of mobile phones, as well as electronic equipment.
At the Akbar PSI Campaign in Kupang Nusa Tenggara Timur, Vice Chair of PSI Board of Trustees Grace Natalie and PSI Board Member Isyana Bagoes Oka who gave questions about the young person's party, also gave gifts in the form of a fan, blender, and a one-door refrigerator.
At each Akbar PSI Campaign, Kaesang also always distributed T-shirts, hats, and even PSI jackets to the citizens present. In addition, Kaesang also always invites people to vote for Capres-Vice President Number 2 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the February 14 elections.
He also conducted a simulation of the presidential election and also the PSI party with sequence number 15. “Later choose number 2, which number 1 and number 3 are just ignored,” he said.
KPU RI determined the participants in the 2024 Presidential and Vice-Presidential Election (Presidential Election), namely Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar number 1, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka number 2, and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md. sequence number 3.
The Commission has also set a campaign period from 28 November 2023 to 10 February 2024, then schedule a vote on 14 February 2024.
