REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The news of grief comes from the world of education and art. Professor of the Faculty of Philosophy and Civilization of Paramadina University who was also a poet, Prof. Abdul Hadi WM (78 years old) died of illness.
“He has returned to his mercy: Prof. Dr. Abdul Hadi WM on Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Subroto due to illness,” the official statement of the campus was quoted by Republika.co.id in Jakarta, Friday (19/1/2024).
The deceased will be buried in a funeral home at Villa Mahkota Pesona Housing Block D2, Number 7 Bojongkulur, Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency, West Java. The deceased will be buried after Friday prayers, in a mosque near the house.
“We pray that the deceased husnul khotimah and be given a glorious place by Allah, the abandoned family will be given fortitude and obedience, aamiin yra,” said Rini Sudarmanti, lecturer at Paramadina University.
