REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The country's famous singer, Ari Lasso has just celebrated his 51st birthday on January 17, 2024. On the day of his birth, the singer, born in 1973, received a special surprise from Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.
Ari Lasso shared the happy moment by uploading a video on his personal Instagram, @ari_lasso. In the video, Ari Lasso appears to show a greeting card and a birthday cake given to Prabowo.
“Thank you Mr. Menhan, Mr. Prabowo for the cake delivery on my birthday. This is from the Secretary of Defense. There's his greeting card,” Ari Lasso said.

He then read out the contents of a greeting card written by Prabowo on that special day, “On my personal behalf, I wish you a happy 51st birthday to Mas Ari Lasso. May God YME always provide long life, health, protection, and smoothness in carrying out activities for the sake of Greater Indonesia,”.
In the same video, Ari Lasso thanked him for the cake and the attention Prabowo gave him. Ari Lasso called it an honor.
“Mr. Prabowo, thank you again. It's been an honor for me. On my birthday I got an unusually large cake shipment from Mr. Thank you sir,” he revealed.
