REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk has completed the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road Section 2 of the Pamulang-Cinere section 2 section. Repeat-Cinere is 3.64 km long. This toll road connecting with Bogor's Pamulang-Cinere-Raya toll road was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on Monday (8/1/2024).
Waskita Karya II Operations Director Dhetik Ariyanto said section 2 is a continuation of section 1 of the Serpong-Cinere toll road. Section 1 of the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road with a length of 6.56 km has been in operation since April 2021. With an additional 3.57 km connected, the total Serpong-Cinere expressway that has been in operation is 10.13 km.
“The Serpong-Cinere Toll Road is also connected with the Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road, Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran Toll Road and Cinere-Jagorawi Toll Road Section 3B of the Krukut-Limo section which have previously been functional since the Christmas 2023 and New Year holidays 2024 (Nataru),” Dhetik said in a written statement in Jakarta, Tuesday (9/1/2024).
Dhetik conveyed the Cinere-Jagorawi toll road which is part of JORR 2 West Region Toll Road into an alternative to reach Soekarno-Hatta Cengkareng Airport, Banten. Thus, road users living in the vicinity of Jabotabek can also avoid the congestion that could potentially occur on Sedyatmo Toll Road which is the main access from JORR 1 Toll Road and Dalam Kota Toll Road both from Tanjung Priok direction and Cawang direction.
“With a travel time of about 20-30 minutes from Cimanggis, this Toll Road can be an alternative for Bogor and Depok people to go to Soekarno Hatta Airport without having to go through JORR 1 Toll Road and Toll Dalam Kota,” Dhetik said.
