REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesia U-20 national team has adapted to the weather conditions at the training center (TC) that took place at Aspire Academy, Doha, Qatar. This was conveyed by Indonesia U-20 national team striker Arkhan Kaka.

“The weather conditions here are also very good. It is a bit cold, but it is very suitable for us to practice here and hopefully in the future we will get even better,” said Arkhan Kaka reported from the official PSSI website on Tuesday (26/12/2023).

Arkhan was also impressed with the facilities where the Indonesia U-20 national team trains. While in Qatar, Garuda Muda trained at the Aspire Academy Field.

“The facilities are very good, very supportive of us for TC here very well, the pitch is very good, flat and very special. In the future, I hope I get better and work hard, improve my game and get even better,” said the Persis Solo player.

Arkhan considers the concentration of training this time very useful because it develops the team's capabilities and adds experience from the Garuda Nusantara squad.

“Very good, very good, we TC outside add experience and add learning for all of us, and hopefully later we process more and hopefully better later,” said Arkhan Kaka.

Currently, the Indonesia U-20 team is still focused on undergoing a menu of physical strength training and recovery after the flight from Jakarta to Doha last Saturday.

The U-20 team is planned to participate in a number of tournaments in 2024 such as the AFF U-19 Cup and the U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers. In order to compete in the 2025 U-20 World Cup in Chile, Indonesia must qualify for the final round of the 2025 U-20 Asia Cup. After that, the Red and White must qualify through to the semi-finals in order to earn four automatic tickets to compete in the 2025 U-20 World Cup
