This is described in Chapter Hud Verses 9-11 and its interpretation.

And if We bestow Our mercy upon a man, then We revoke it, he must be despondent and ungrateful. (Chapter Hud: 9)

Tafsir Kementerian Agama mentions that in this verse God explains that God grants to man some kind of favors, as His gifts such as generosity of sustenance, profit in trade, bodily health, domestic security, and children who are well off. Then God took away those favors, and man immediately changed his character to that of despair.

They only show desire and no longer appreciate the favors that remain with them. In addition to despairing at the loss of that favor, they also deny the favors that remain with him. This is because they lack the two main traits: patience and gratitude.

And if We give him happiness after the disaster that has befallen him, he will surely say, “The disaster is gone from me. “Indeed he (felt) very happy and proud,” (QS Hud:10)
