REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA -- East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa encourages Pratama High Leadership Officials (Echelon II) and Functional Officials Key Expert Policy Analysts in the East Java Provincial Government Area can integrate digital transformation in the public service sector. Today, he said, digital transformation in various public service sectors has resulted in a wide variety of applications.
"However, often many of these digital applications have not been integrated with each other," Khofifah said on Thursday (14/12/2023).
Therefore, Khofifah hopes that a wide variety of existing digital applications can be integrated into one portal or one application. The goal is to make it easier and more efficient for people to access public services through a single application portal.
"How applications are interconnected and integrated with each other, so that they must be synchronized between one OPD with another associated OPD. There are internal problems of institutions that not all want to provide their data. Synchronization of one Jatim data must be done," he said.
Khofifah also exemplifies a workable digital transformation integration and collaboration system, one of which is a public service website. Where in one website or portal it directly displays various kinds of public services.
"So that when people access one such portal, they can directly access various services. In the future, digital transformation of public services can also be carried out by utilizing digital ID based on population data," he explained.
One example of integrating digital transformation, Khofifah said, is through the application of the Local Government Information System (SIPD). Where as an Electronic Based Governance System (SPBE) application, SIPD could simplify 546 applications.
This SIPD is an acceleration of the integration of planning, budgeting, implementation, accounting, and accountability reporting, as well as financial supervision in all municipalities in Indonesia.
In the future, he added, there is a change in the governance paradigm that changes along with future governance (governance 5.0). Namely, a paradigm shift in which the government originally organized society into a government working with the community or making society a partner.
"Hence the importance of data orientation, digital transformation and competitive HR. Now is the time to change the development paradigm. If in the past the government closed itself from criticism, then today the government should open itself up to criticism of input from anyone," he said.
