REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, AMBON -- Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku through Bula Fuel Terminal distributes assistance for the construction of Al-Hijrah Mosque in Bula District, Seram.
Area Manager Comm, Rail & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku, Edi Mangun, explained that the aid distributed is a form of Pertamina's concern so that the house of worship built can be completed immediately so as to provide motivation and comfort in worship.
“Of course we also want to play a role in the life of the people around Fuel Terminal Bula. This development aid is a vivid example of how Pertamina can provide benefits to the surrounding communities,” he said in Ambon, few days ago.
According to him, the distribution of aid for the construction of the mosque has been through a direct survey looking at the conditions so that the aid can be targeted and as needed.
“We have previously surveyed and we have mapped out which ones we can help according to budget and needs. Of course, the construction of this mosque also plays an important role so that people who want to worship do not experience any shortage of one,” Edi said.
Pertamina always strives for worship facilities to be given special attention. “We always hope that the help we provide can reach the neighborhood, not only to the community, but also to the mosque so that it is convenient when performing worship,” he said.
It hopes that the aid can be put to the best use and be able to glue the company together with the surrounding community to make it more harmonious.
Chairman of Al-Hijrah Mosque of Tansi Ambon Village, Samsul Bahri Daeng Parany, thanked Pertamina for the help and concern.
“This assistance is very helpful to us the community and also to the administrators of Al-Hijrah Mosque. Of course, we as the manager of the mosque are grateful because Pertamina has helped the construction of this mosque,” he said.
The representative of the Tansi village government, Puspawati Liputo added that the help from Pertamina was welcomed and positive by the mosque administrators and the surrounding residents. Even volunteers together with residents help each other build mosques.
“Thank God that the handover has been made from Pertamina, we really appreciate what has become the need to integrate with the surrounding community,” he said.
