REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Silaturahim Nasional (Silatnas) Hidayatullah in 2023 was officially opened by Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs of Indonesia Saiful Rahmat Dasuki. The opening was held at Aglasra Square of Hidayatullah's parent campus Gunung Tembak, Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Thursday (23/11).

Silatnas Hidayatullah 2023 carries the theme “50 Years Building Civilized NKRI Together” followed by 20,000 Hidayatullah Muslim preachers from all over Indonesia.

Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs of Indonesia, Saiful Rahmat Dasuki appreciated Hidayatullah's apparent gesture. According to him, Hidayatullah's success is not only reflected in statistical figures.

“More than that, it is a real way of shaping the character of resilient youth, strengthening faith and responding to the challenges of the times,” Saiful Rahmat said in his opening.

Saiful emphasized on building synergies across organizations, and benefiting the nation and the country. Encouraging diversity is therefore our strength. To build a brighter future.

“I invite momentum silatnas to do more for the good. Provide positive inspiration and be an agent of change for their respective regions,” Saiful said.

Saiful also alluded to the importance of choosing a leader. Simultaneously he said all three presidential candidates were the nation's best sons.

Meanwhile, East Kalimantan Governor Akmal Malik appreciated the steps of Hidayatullah who has become the pioneer of Indonesia's human development.

“I appreciate the step of Hidayatullah who has always been a pioneer of spiritual, social development and education,” said Akmal Malik.

The opening agenda of Silatnas Hidayatullah 2023 is lively with various attractions of the santri ranging from horse riding to traditional dances. This event of silaturahim dai and daiyah Hidayatullah from all regions of Indonesia took place on 23-26 November 2023 at Hidayatullah Campus Balikpapan.
