Biden Did Not Respond the Request to End Massacre in Gaza

Jokowi sure Biden took note the points he said when they met twice last week.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The President of Indonesia Joko Widodo said US President Joe Biden was not responding the request to end the massacre in Gaza, Palestine. 

Jokowi delivered the request when he met Biden di White House, Washington DC, and in APEC Summit 2023 in San Francisco last week. In those two meetings, Jowoki directly requested The US to stop massacre in Gaza. Jokowi also asked Biden to held a ceasefire and stop agression in Gaza.

"He (Biden) did not respond," Jokowi said in Halim Perdana Kusuma Air Force Base di Jakarta, Monday (Nov.20, 2023).

In addition, Jokowi asked Biden to ease aids to enter Gaza. "I delivered those points to him, in White House and also in APEC Summit," Jokowi said.

But Biden has not responding those points yet. Jokowi assumed Biden still considered all the inputs from him and from the result of Extra Ordinary Meeting of The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). "He (Biden) might considering them. I was sure he took note the points I told him," Jokowi added.

Jokowi claimed he also disscussed about Two States Solution to end Palestine-Israel conflict. Indonesia represented by Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi as OIC special envoy also already delivered the messages of OIC Extra Ordinary Meeting.

On the meeting with Biden, Jokowi hoped Indonesia and America partnership can contributed to prosperity and peaceful in the world.
