REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Metro Jaya police capture a South Korean Citizen with the initials KH who allegedly killed an Immigration Officer with the initials TS. The murder occurred at Metro Garden Apartment in Parung Jaya area, Karang Tengah, Tangerang City, Friday (27/10/2023) in the early morning.

“Suspected perpetrator of South Korean WN. It happened at about 3:00pm in the early hours of the morning. Victims from Immigration officers,” said Director of the General Criminal Reserse of Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Hengki Haryadi to the media crew, Friday (27/10/2023).

According to Hengki, the suspected murderer with the initials TS was rounded up at his residence on Friday (27/10/2023) at around 08.00 pm in the morning. At the time when the arrest was about to be made, the perpetrator allegedly resisted by confining himself in the room.

But in the end, officers were able to secure and take the man to Metro Jaya Police and conducted an intensive examination. “We have secured suspected perpetrators,” Hengki said.

In this case, the alleged victim fell from the 19th floor of the apartment and TS was allegedly involved. Hengki said that currently a joint team of interprofessional collaboration is still conducting a deepening at the scene of the victim's death. So it can be known whether the victims were killed or killed themselves.

“We are investigating whether this is related to murder, or homicide or whether it is suicide, whether it is an accident and so on are still under investigation,” Hengki explained.
