Papuan separatists shoot dead a motorcycle taxi driver

Papuan separatist groups are again killing a civilian in Papua.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, -- Papuan separatist groups are again killing a civilian in Papua. Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius D Fakhiri confirmed that a motorcycle taxi driver named Udin (41 years old) was shot dead by Papuan separatists known as the Armed Criminal Group (ACG/KKB).

The shooting of civilians took place in Eromaga Village, Puncak Regency, on Wednesday (14/4) at 13.59 WIT.

"The police and army joint team received information that a shooting had occurred in Eromaga Village, Puncak Regency," said Fakhiri when confirmed, Wednesday (14/4).

At 14:19 WIT, the joint team arrived at the scene of the shooting (TKP). Then the team evacuated the victim to Ilaga Puskesmas using an ambulance and a Visum Et Repertum was carried out.

It is suspected that the victim who had just escorted the passenger was shot down so that it hit the right chest and through the back and left cheek. The victim is a resident of the Ilaga Market Complex, Puncak Regency, Papua.

"The victim was shot by KKB on his way back to Ilaga City after escorting the passengers from the interior," said Fakhiri.

The perpetrator of the shooting was the Armed Criminal Group led by Legakak Telenggen. The police took firm action against the Armed Criminal Group.
