REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, a former vice presidential candidate said he wanted to take a break from politics. He stressed did not want to involve in any political parties activity.
"I want to take a break from politics first. We are soft landing and many women want OKE OCE," said Sandiaga after attending Indonesian Muslim Women Entrepreneurs (WPMI) National Meeting on Tuesday (July 2).
According to Sandiaga who also former Jakarta deputy governor, he will re-focus on efforts to encourage populist economy through One District One Center of Enterpreneurship (OK OCE) program. In addition, he is also ready for Rumah Siap Kerja (House Ready Work) program.
The programs will involve around 600 Indonesian Muslim Women Entrepreneurs (WPMI) cadres spread across several provinces in Indonesia. This aimed to provide work fields in the country.
"Alhamdulillah (thank God) there have been 600 members in several Regional Management Boards in a number of provinces," Sandiaga added.
Sandiaga said there will be more than 3.000 jobs that will be created through these programs. He wanted to collaborated with businessmen and all economic actors, in order to encourage Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) more develop.
