REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Gerindra Party chief patron Prabowo Subianto paid a visit to the residence of PKS Syura (Advisory) Council chairman Salim Segaf Al-Jufri in Pejaten, South Jakarta on Wednesday. The two parties leaders held a closed-door meeting to discuss presidential election 2019.
Meanwhile, journalists were not allowed to enter the gate of Salim's house complex. The gate was closed for reporters.
At around 15.15 p.m., Prabowo's car accompanied by some other cars and voorijder left Salim's house. Prabowo stayed silent. He did not said a word to the reporters.
Prabowo did not even open his car's window as he always did.

Earlier, Gerindra and PKS relationship was seem to be at stake. PKS Chairman Sohibul Iman threatened to leave the coalition if Gerindra did not follow Ijtima' Ulemas recommendation which nominate Al-Jufri and respected preacher ustaz Abdul Somad Batubara as Prabowo's running mate.
PKS insisted Prabowo should choose either Al-Jufri or ustaz Somad as his vice presidential candidate. The coalition constalation will be stattered if ulemas' recommendation is not followed, Sohibul said.
"If it happens, then PKS can carry on with its nine candidates," Sohibul remarked.
