REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Metro Police arrested a teenager who made a video containing threat and insult to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The 16-years-old boy was nabbed at his house in Kembangan, West Jakarta, on Wednesday (May 23) afternoon.
"He is still being examined," Head of Public Relations of Jakarta Metro Police, Argo Yuwono said on Wednesday night.
Argo said the police have not decide the status of the teenager yet. Since the case was not a complaint offence, the police investigators would hold a case expose.
Earlier, a shirtless young man posed a threat and insult to the president in a 19 seconds video recording. The video was posted on Instagram account of @jojo_ismyname on Wednesday. In the video, he challanged the president while holding a frame of Jokowi's photograph.
