REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesian Teacher Unions Federation (FSGI) asked government to give strict sanction to the teachers who act iniquity on national exam (UN) 2018 that started today, April 2. Iniquity acts such as leaking the answers on the exam.

"The teachers who act iniquity must be given strict sanctions. For the civil servant (PNS) teachers, they can be fired or removed from their position," said FSGI general secretary, Heru Purnomo on Sunday (1/4).

Heru said the teachers should be the real figures of education. Therefore, it would not be approriate if there were 'unscrupulous' teachers who act iniquity on national exam implementation.

In addition, FSGI expected there is no other element, such as from group tutoring that try to leak national exam answers. Moreover, until this year, many regions in Indonesia that have not been able to hold a computer-based national exam (UNBK).

"We all must be equally supportive for the implementation of national exam this year can take place successfully, honestly," Heru explained.
