Indonesian nurse wins Best Staff Award in Kuwait

Indonesian Embassy in Kuwait says Suparman has brought credit to Indonesian nurses.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- An Indonesian nurse named Suparman, who works for the Health Ministry of Kuwait at a hospital in Farwaniya province, was awarded the Best Nurse Staff 2017. A statement from the Indonesian Embassy in Kuwait, received by Antara here on Tuesday, mentioned that Suparman has brought credit to Indonesian nurses in Kuwait, especially in Farwaniya region.

Suparman, who hails from Sulawesi, is known as a friendly and responsible person.

The awards ceremony for Kuwait's best nurse was attended by Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Faisal Al-Hamud Al-Malik Al-Sabah.

The best awards were also given to all health professionals, such as doctors, radiologists, matrons, anesthetists, and others.

In January, two Indonesians also received awards for best nurses at the surgical hospital. They were Ali Pulungan, who won the second best nursing staff award, and Agung Setiadi, who won the third best nursing staff award.
