According Novel, the police has explain their consideration in issuing SP3. He said, Bareskrim investigators have examined three witnesses. The police concluded Ahok's statement came as a part of his defense on the blasphemy trial and it was not a crime.
"Exception on the trial is the defendant's right, which guaranteed by the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP), as long as there is no reprimand from the judge," Novel quoted the letter.
So far, there has no confirmation from the police regarding the provision of SP3 to Ahok.
