REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to present more detailed evidences of Setya Novanto's involvement in e-ID card procurement graft case. KPK said Novanto is the first defendant in political "cluster". KPK believed, there were three clusters involved in the case, namely political, bureaucratic and private sector.
"Pretrial verdict has created new page in handling e-ID card graft case. Our next agenda is to enter the case's substance with the resigned House of Representatives speaker, Setya Novanto as defendant. We will present more detailed evidences," said KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah said on Thursday (December 14).
From political cluster, KPK also has named Markus Nari as suspect. The House member from Golkar party faction was still being investigated by KPK.
Meanwhile, the case from the bureaucratic cluster was already solved. Former director general of population and civil registration Ministry of Home Affairs, Irman and former director of information administration management Ministry of Home Affairs, Sugiharto have been convicted.
From private sector cluster, businessman Andi Agustinus aka Andi Narogong has been a defendant and President Director of PT Quadra Solution Anang Sugiana Sudihardjo has been named suspect.
