Fahira Idris files police report against blasphemous tweet

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Deputy Committee III of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD), Fahira Idris has filed a police report against a Twitter account owner @dhefhoyama on alleged blasphemy.

In addition, @dhefhoyama also used Bang Japar logo on his account. As chairperson of Bang Japar, Fahira said, she would collect all the evidences and continue with legal process.

"He is very chaotic. Please collect all the evidences and insya Allah (God's willing) we will continue with legal process," Fahira said on her official Twitter account.

Senator Fahira Idris said, she has forgiven @dhefhoyama as he has took off Bang Japar logo from his Twitter account bio. Nevertheless, she will continue to process his insulting tweet against Prophet Muhammad PBUH and ulamas.

Owner of Twitter account @dhefhoyama wrote some very insulting tweet about Prophet Muhammad PBUH, in particular about polygamy that he considered as free sex. 

This account also mentioned that divorce was not taught by God, but by Prophet Muhammad PBUH. 

He has apologized to Fahira. Through a tweet, he asked for forgiveness for hurting many people.

"I admit that is my foolishness, even though it was a long time since I used this account. My account was hijacked or being hacked by others," said @dhefhoyama account's owner.
