REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Attorney of House of Representatives speaker, Setya Novanto, Fredrich Yunadi ensured that Setya Novanto's daughter, Dwina Michaella did not receive the letter of summons from Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)'s investigators.
Therefore, he assured Dwina will not come to meet the KPK investigator's summon.
"She's not coming, because there's no letter," Yunadi said on Friday (November 24).
According to Fredrich, KPK sent the summons to the wrong address. The summons was sent to Novanto's residence at Jalan Wijaya XIII, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, not to Dwina's house.
Fredrich said, Dwina did not live there.
KPK was scheduled to examine Dwina as a witness of corruption of e-ID procurement case for suspect Anang Sugiana Sudiharja (ASS).
KPK's spokeperson, Febri Diansyah had previously warned that witnesses has to cooperate and meet investigator's call.
"We remind the witnesses who are called by the investigators to fulfill the obligation to attend the examination because the letter has been given properly," Febri said in KPK Building, Jakarta, Thursday.
On Thursday, investigators scheduled an examination of Novanto's son, Rheza Herwindo. However, Rheza was absent from the investigator's call. "There is no information for reasons of absence," Febri said.
Rheza Herwindo and Dwina Michaella are Novanto's children from his first marriage to Luciana Lily Herliyanti.
Meanwhile, Setya Novanto's attorney, Otto Hasibuan stated that Novanto's involvement in the case was still unclear. Therefore, he asked the public not to judge that Novanto was guilty.
"It's unclear yet. We' wil know when it's already formulated in the prosecutor's indictment. Let's be patient. Don't judge him before we know he's guily or not," he said.
Otto added, it was not yet known whether Novanto took funds, told to do, gave an opportunity or as the party receiving the funds.
According to KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah, Deisti was examined to deepen the chronology of share ownership and shareholders of PT. Mondialindo Graha Perdana.
The company was known as one of shareholders of PT. Murakabi Sejahtera, participants of e-ID card procurement project.
