REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Metro Police scheduled an examination of Setya Novanto  (Setnov) today, Thursday (November 23). 

The examination was related to a single accident case on last Thursday (November 16) night which made the House of Representatives speaker hospitalized at Permata Hijau hospital. 

Spokesperson of Jakarta Metro Police, Senior Commissioner Argo Yuwono confirmed about the examination schedule. However, because Setnov has become a detainee of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the examination should be conducted in KPK's prison.

"Our investigators will conduct the examination there," Argo said to Republika.co.id on Thursday (November 23). 

Argo added that the examination will be done in the afternoon. He was informed that Novanto will receive a visit from his family in the morning.

KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah previously said that KPK was ready to facilitate the police to conduct an investigation into the corruption case suspect of e-ID procurement. However, this time Setnov will be checked as a witness and also the victim of a single accident last week. 

Jakarta Metro Police investigators have conducted a preliminary examination to the witnesses, including Toyota official and the driver who drove Setnov that night.
