REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Intelligence Observer from University of Indonesia (UI) Ridwan Habib believed there were at least three keys behind the success of the police in arresting the perpetrators of IT expert Hermansyah. The first, he said, is a super-conscientious crime scene identification.

"Investigators worked with no assumptions, but from the scene. The great detective always works with the evidence base on the crime scene," Ridwan said.

The second, Ridwan added, the investigation team is not affected by slanderous opinions on social media. In this case, some people believed and accused the police unable to catch and arrest the perpetrators. "This is good," he said.

The third, the combination between the detective and regional intelligence. The perpetrators, Ridwan said, hide his car in Bandung. The intelligence team patienly lurked and delivered information to the Jaguar team. "It's a smart combination of tactics," he said.
