Sam Ratulangi airport ready to serve flights on Manado-China route

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANADO -- Airport operator PT Angkasa Pusa I at the Sam Ratulangi International Airport is ready to serve international flights between Manado and China during the second semester of 2017.

"There will be tens of international flights between Manado and China from July to August 2017," Sam Ratulangi's PT Angkasa Pura I General Manager Erik Susanto stated here, Friday.

Sam Ratulangi Airport is of international standard and is equipped with facilities to serve domestic and international passengers.

Since last year, the airport has served Chinese tourists arriving aboard chartered flights of Lion Air, Citilink, and Sriwijaya Air.

"During the July-August 2017 period, there will be 13 chartered flights of Citilink and 34 flights of Lion Air in July," he noted.

For the upcoming Eid-ul Fitri Fitri holiday, regular domestic flights will be operated by seven airlines serving 19 destinations.
