Attorney General rejects Firza Husein’s case files

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The case screening of alleged pornographic case with Firza Husein as suspect was finished on Wednesday (June 7). It was held for two hours and resulted in a decision that the Attorney General’s Office returned the case files to the investigators of Jakarta Metro Police.

“From the screening it was concluded that the files had not been completed to be submitted to trial,” said a Junior Attorney General on General Crime Noor Rachmad at his office in South Jakarta on Wednesday (June 7).

Noor said the files should be repaired and completed, so the prosecutor only gave guidance in the form of P19 to the investigators to repair it.

Meanwhile, Firza’s lawyer Aziz Yanuar thanked God for it. He said the case did not meet any criminal requirement.

“Thanks God. I have said from the beginning that based on the legal consequences, let’s say if it is really the picture and chat of FH, I talk legally, it did not meet any requirements (of crime),” he said on Wednesday (June 7).

Aziz said from the beginning the case should be in private sphere. He hoped that the AGO would stop the prosecution. He said the evidence showed the crime was weak. He also police had forced to make it continued to prosecution as it was the juridical and formal duties of police.
