Do not waste energy for something unproductive: Jokowi

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) let the people to conduct demonstration to express their opinion. However, he said it should be conducted in accordance with the existing rules and law. 

“We are in a democratic country. Please share your opinion, but follow the rules,” said Jokowi in South Jakarta on Friday (May 5). 

Jokowi asked the masses not to disrupt the state order and security. He also appealed the society to use their energy on the productive activities.

“Don’t let our energy wasted for something unproductive," said him. 

On Friday, GNPF MUI held 55 rally to support the judges in blasphemy case to make a fair judgement for the defendant, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok).
