REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Detachment 88 of the National Police arrested four alleged terrorist in Banten on Thursday (March 23). One of them died after being shot by the police.

“Yes, on Thursday at about 12.00 pm there was an operation to raid the suspected terrorist in Banten,” said the National Police spokesperson Rikwanto in a short message on the same day.

The alleged terrorists were Nanang Kosim (NK), Achmad Supriyanto (AC), Icuk Pamulang and Abdul Majid (AM). They came by two vehicles from the direction of Anyer. When they came to Ciwandan, the vehicles run slower. The police overtook and cut it off to stop it. “The vehicle rode by Icuk and Achmad was stopped so they were arrested,” said Rikwanto.

Another vehicle rode by Nanang and Abdul Majid kept running. The police called additional personnel to block them. “They are not cooperative and they keep running their vehicle to crash the police car,” he said.

The member of Detachment 88 caught them. NK was died as he was shot in his chest.
