REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MALANG -- Educational and Cultural Ministry responded the news of leaked answer key of the National Standard Test (USBN) in some regions by sending special investigation team. Educational and Cultural Minister Muhadjir Effendy said on Wednesday (March 22) that so far it was a hoax.
"There have been a clarification by the General Inspector said it is a hoax. But we still conduct an investigation," said Muhadjir after giving a speech in Muhammadiyah Malang University.
He said the key answer spread in Whatsapp messages was not the USBN key answer. It was confirmed by the principals in some regions. "We have checked in Tegal and two other regency, the principals confirmed that it was not the USBN answer key," he said.
According to Muhadjir, the fake answer key was spread by unresponsible people. During his speech, he also mentioned about the importance of teachers' honesty. "Do not give too many lattices of test. Maybe you intentionally do good things but do not leak the detail of the test," he said.
Muhadjir said 90 percent of the secondary and high schools were ready to held the national examination.
