Zakir Naik to hold preach tours in Indonesia, here's his schedule

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Indian Muslim scholar Zakir Abdul Karim Naik planned to preach tours to Indonesia on April 2017. The idea of preach tours was said to came from Zakir's own initiative. "The plan to come to Indonesia at the end of March or early April was his own initiatives,” said the spokesperson of Zakir Naik Visit Indonesia 2017 Budhi Setiawan to Republika.co.id on Monday. 

Budhi explained Zakir Naik has came to Indonesia early in March. At that time, he said he did not invited by anyone or any institution. It was his initiatives to come to this country. 

Zakir Naik said Indonesia was the biggest Muslim country in the world. Therefore, he wanted to preach tours to some cities in Indonesia. 

During his visit at early March, he discussed his plan with an Indonesian mualaf, Hanny Kristianto. Lately, he became the vice Chairman of Zakir Naik Visit Indonesia 2017. Al-Bukhari Wahid was chosen to be the chairman. 

Budhi said the tour would be conducted in 10 days, started from 1-10 April 2017. Zakir would deliver a speech in six cities in Indonesia. It would be followed by a question and answer session, not a debate. 

On April 1st, Zakir’s wife Farhat Zakir Naik would deliver a speech in front of 2,500 Muslimah in Kota Wisata, West Java. It would be conducted from 08.00 am to 11.00 am. 

At the second day, Zakir Naik would be in Indonesian Education University (UPI) Bandung, West Java. It would be conducted from 08.00 am to 12.00 pm and targeted ten thousands of audiences. It would bring the theme of ‘Da’wah or Destruction’.

Zakir would be in Yogyakarta during the third day. He would present on general lecture themed ‘Misconception of Islam’ in the Auditorium of the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). Fifteen thousands of audiences was targeted to come. 

He would continue the tour to give a speech at the Auditorium of Darussalam University (Unida_, Gontor, Ponorogo, East Java. In Unida, he would deliver a speech themed ‘Religion in Right Perspective’ and targeted ten thousands of people. 

On April 8th, Zakir Naik would come to Bekasi. He would give a speech themed ‘Similarity between Islam and Christianity’ in the Patriot Stadium. About 40 thousands of people were targeted to come. 

The last tour would be in Makassar, South Sulawesi. Zakir would gave a speech themed ‘Quran and Modern Science’ in Hasanuddin University. It was targeted 10 thousands of audiences.
