REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice Chairman of the Democratic Party, Syareif Hasan has challenged Antasari Azhar to prove involvement of the former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) in the alleged criminalization to him. Syarief claimed SBY never interfered the law enforcement, because it has been SBY’s commitment as president at that time. ''Slander is more cruel. It will be better to reveal everything, don’t just give the facts. Be open,'' Syarief said at the Parliament Complex Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday.

Syarief hoped Antasari would meet the challenge. Therefore, Antasari’s statement would not be a slander to form opinions. ‘’Please open it. Don’t let it be shaded. It's not good as it could create opinion. It would form another slander, '' he said.
