REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Coordinating Minister for Maritime, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, said President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) planned to meet the former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY). The meeting was planned to be conducted after the regional election.
"Yesterday he indeed planned to meet SBY, there was (a plan). But maybe it was not the right time. Maybe after the election. Of course there were considerations," said Luhut in the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Friday.

He also guaranted that there was no one around the president forbid the meeting between him and the president. "So, do not say there were colleagues (forbid) the meeting, there was no one. I guaranted there was no one," he said.

Previously, SBY claimed to have an information from his resource said that the people around Jokowi forbid him to meet SBY. However, he did not mention a name. He also revealed his willing to talk bluntly to Jokowi.
