REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- General Chairman of Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto has vowed to take back the nation's wealth and return it to the Indonesian people. "Sooner or later, we will take back Indonesia's wealth. The people's wealth is for the Indonesian people. So, take back Jakarta to save Indonesia," Prabowo said here, Sunday, while campaigning for Anies Baswedan and Sandiaga Uno (Anies-Sandi) who are running as a candidate pair in Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"I feel the enthusiasm. According to reports from everywhere, the momentum belongs to us. I am very much optimistic," the retired general said before supporters of Anies and Sandi.

Prabowo claimed that he has used a strategy to talk to the people and to convey the truth during the election campaign.

Besides Gerindra, the Justice and Prosperous Party (PKS) is also supporting Anies-Sandi pair. Anies Baswedan is former education minister, while Sandiaga Uno, his running mate, is successful businessman.
